Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain responsive, secure, and user-friendly web applications and websites. The successful candidate will work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality digital solutions that meet business and user requirements.
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain websites and web applications. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices. Develop responsive user interfaces that work across different devices and browsers. Build and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications. Integrate websites with databases, APIs, and third-party services. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Optimize website performance, speed, and scalability. Implement security measures to protect web applications and user data. Perform regular updates, backups, and maintenance of websites and web systems. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes. Test applications to ensure functionality, usability, and compatibility. Monitor website performance and implement improvements where necessary. Maintain version control using Git or similar tools. Stay up to date with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and development trends.
Requirements:
Education Bachelor's Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), National Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience At least 1–3 years of experience in web development (entry to mid-level). Experience developing responsive websites and web applications. Portfolio of completed web development projects is an added advantage. Technical Skills Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap, React, Vue.js, or Angular. Knowledge of back-end technologies such as PHP, Laravel, Node.js, ASP.NET, or Python (Django/Flask). Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party API integration.
